For more than a century, neighbors across Connecticut have come to us for the plants, flowers, and know-how to make their gardens grow. We’re proud to still be doing it — better quality, better service.

More than a century of growing

Cheshire Nursery Garden Center & Florist was founded in 1906 and has grown into one of Connecticut’s leading garden centers. Over generations, we’ve helped families across the region plant their first gardens, choose the trees that now shade their yards, and mark life’s occasions with fresh flowers.

What started with a love of growing has become a full-service destination — everything from A to Z. We grow more than 1,500 perennial varieties right here in Cheshire, source trees and flowering shrubs from the East Coast’s best suppliers, and stock the mulches, seeds, tools, and remedies that keep a garden thriving.

Alongside the garden center, our full-service florist arranges fresh-cut flowers daily for every occasion. Through it all, our promise has stayed the same: quality plants, honest advice, and the kind of service that brings neighbors back season after season.
